Working principle

 

  1. The HDPE cavity is in an empty state during installation, and it is relatively light in weight, which makes it convenient for transportation and installation.
  2. After the installation is completed, water or sand should be injected into the cavity to increase the overall weight, enabling it to resist wind loads and other external forces.
  3. When it is necessary to relocate or dismantle, water or sand can be drained out to restore the cavity to its lightweight state, facilitating transportation and reuse

Design considerations

 

  1. Wind load and snow load: Design the size of the cavity and the amount of water injection based on the local climatic conditions.
  2. Terrain conditions: Ensure that the contact surface between the cavity and the ground is stable. If necessary, additional fixation devices can be added.
  3. Material strength: Select high-quality HDPE materials to ensure the durability and compressive resistance of the cavity.
  4. Drainage design: In low-lying areas, drainage issues need to be considered to prevent water accumulation inside the cavity.
